eLearning Programs
Self-study, computer-based learning has come to be known as eLearning. These courses can be delivered on-line, loaded from a CD or local server, or downloaded to a computer's hard drive. PCMI has been designing and delivering eLearning programs since 1999. In addition to our current listing of "off the shelf" programs, PCMI frequently develops custom programs to meet the unique requirements of our varied customers. All PCMI eLearning programs are:
- Cost effective - eLearning eliminates travel expenses & other costs that can be associated with traditional classroom training.
- Allow learning when it's convenient - Schedule training when it fits into the learner's calendar. Learners can complete programs at their own pace.
- Provide consistency in material covered - With traditional training methods you're never sure if people attending different classes covered the same material. eLearning eliminates this hit or miss approach.
- Competency based - With built in exams, eLearning measures progress. Learners can also repeat material until they've mastered it.

Flexible - In addition to individual use eLearning can be used in other ways:
- preparing for or reinforcing classroom training;
- large group presentations; (e.g., via PowerPoint®)
- as part of on-going supervision;
- as new employees orientation; and/or
- in small discussion/study groups.
